A NOTE ON DOSING:
When you buy liquid preparations of herbs from your health store, you will find that in most cases, dose recommendations are given on the label. Unfortunately, these are almost invariably not designed to give you accurate information, but merely to make the bottle (usually 1 fl.oz.) appear to be a good value. Ten drops of Echinacea three times daily really is going to do very little for you! This under-dosing is the main reason that many people who try herbs believe that a particular herb does not work for them. 1oz. and 2oz. packs are for trial only, to see that you are comfortable with a particular product. At Desert Herbals, we apply realistic dosages to our products. (Please don’t allow anyone to use the quality argument against us, our specifications are higher than virtually all liquid products available in health stores.) Usually the right herb or combination of herbs over a period of time, at the right dose will bring the results you desire.
